Filth Shirt honors the legendary East Bay California crust punk/hardcore band Filth - one of THE most influential bands of the early 90s East Bay hardcore scene. This Filth shirt celebrates the band that helped define the "later East Bay hardcore" style with their unique combination of upbeat catchy guitar riffs and throat-scorching screamed vocals. Formed in 1989 in the East Bay by members of Isocracy and The Vagrants with the lineup of Jake Sayles on vocals, Mike-o the Psycho on bass, Dave Henwood on drums, Jim Gray on guitar, and Len Rokk on guitar. Active from 1989 to 1992 with a short-lived 2010 reunion, Filth released their classic Shit Split LP with Blatz plus splits with Destroy! and others. Some members later went on to The Criminals. Pg.99 famously covered their track The List.
