Amebix Arise Shirt honors THE foundational 1985 debut album from the UK anarcho-crust pioneers Amebix - one of the most foundational crust punk records ever made. This Amebix shirt celebrates the album that essentially defined the entire stenchcore and anarcho-crust genre. Amebix formed in Devon England in 1978 by brothers The Baron (Rob Miller) on vocals and bass and Stig (Chris Miller) on guitar - alongside Antisect they essentially defined what would become known as crust punk. Arise delivered the dark, heavy, brooding, metallic anarcho-punk sound influenced by Killing Joke, Discharge, Motörhead, and Hawkwind - with the post-apocalyptic Mad Max imagery that became synonymous with the band's aesthetic. Massive influence on bands as varied as Sepultura, Neurosis, Slayer, Cradle Of Filth, Doom, and Hellbastard.
